Stan grew up in the mountains of Pennsylvania playing air guitar to "Jesse’s Girl" and other 80’s hits. When he was 18, he bought his first guitar at an Amish auction by just barely beating out Abraham Stolfus’ $23 final bid. From there, it was a road trip to the bookstore where he bought the "Klutz’s Book to Playing Guitar". After "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" became second nature to him, he went on to college to diversify his very narrow musical taste. Four years later, he bought his first electric guitar in Nashville, TN, and spent the next 2 years working the country twang out of it. After graduation and a band or two later, Stan moved to Richmond where he met a drummer (on a Monday) with a "200 amp electrical main" and a sound proof basement. On this foundation (no pun intended), the band was born…
